Building Process
Features
  • All columns are engineered and manufactured by Fingerlakes Construction.
  • All lower columns to be #1 Southern Yellow Pine Kiln Dried After Treatment treated .60 cca
  • All upper columns to be #1 Southern Yellow Pine
  • 3 ply columns to be nailed with 12d Treated Lumber Nail ring shank power gun nails 12" on center two rows each side with joints nailed 6" on center 12" each side of the joint. Average 6" nailing area to be from 5' to 11' from the end of the column starting at treated end of column.
  • 4 ply columns to be nailed with 20d Treated Lumber Nail ring shank power gun nails same pattern as 3 ply columns.
  • All columns less than 18' will he one piece full length treated material.
  • We use some of the highest strength, grade stamped lumber in manufacturing all of our columns that are engineered for all your needs.
